HEIC Toolkit is built on a simple promise: your files are yours. We do not collect, store, or process any personal data as part of providing this service. This policy explains what that means in practice.
What data we collect
None. HEIC Toolkit does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information. We do not use tracking cookies, fingerprinting, or any form of persistent user identification. If analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect that before they go live.
How file conversion works
All HEIC conversion on this site is performed entirely within your web browser using JavaScript. When you select or drop a file, it is read by the browser's local file API and processed using client-side libraries. Your files are never uploaded to, stored on, or accessed by any server operated by us or any third party. The converted output is generated locally and downloaded directly to your device.
Third-party data sharing
We do not sell, share, rent, or otherwise transfer user data — including file content — to any third party. Because we do not collect data in the first place, there is nothing to share.
Children's privacy
HEIC Toolkit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this service, please contact us at the address below and we will address it promptly.
Changes to this policy
